چکیده
Abstract This work aims to prepare a reliable landslide susceptibility model and analyse the factors contributing landslides in dynamic environment by considering city of Gdynia, Poland as case study. Geological, geomorphological, hydrological, hydrogeological, anthropogenic predisposing are considered using geographic information systems. Ground types at different depths (1 m 4 b.g.l.) used statistical assessment for first time. Landslide maps developed two techniques presenting landslides, 13 conditioning factors, three methods: index, weight evidence, logistic regression. The have an influence on mass movement formation, but their roles different. Many these passive interrelated some them also related active i.e. triggers. Consideration many thematic layers approach allows selection most appropriate geo-environmental variables. significant that affect likelihood landsliding include land use cover well topography. generated index appear be over-predicted. regression only independent controlling (slope angle, slope aspect, lithology) sufficient compile map Gdynia. Prediction rate curve plots show produced exhibits highest prediction accuracy. results emphasize need check independence instability subset validation.

متن کاملLandslide susceptibility mapping using logistic regression analysis in Latyan catchment
Every year, hundreds of people all over the world lose their lives due to landslides. Landslide susceptibility map describes the likelihood or possibility of new landslides occurring in an area, and therefore helping to reduce future potential damages. The main purpose of this study is to provide landslide susceptibility map using logistic regression model at Latyan watershed, north Iran. I...
متن کاملInland wetlands mapping and vulnerability assessment using an integrated geographic information system and remote sensing techniques
The understanding of inland wetlands’ distribution and their level of vulnerability is important to enhance management and conservation efforts. The aim of the study was to map inland wetlands and assess their distribution pattern and vulnerability to natural and human disturbances such as climate change (temperature increase) and human activities by the year 2080. Inland wetland types i.e. for...
متن کاملLand cover land use mapping and change detection analysis using geographic information system and remote sensing
Land cover/land use categories are relevant components in land management. Understanding how land cover/land use change over time is necessary to assess the consequences of humans and natural stressors on the earth’s environment and resources. The aim of the study was to map and monitor the spatial and temporal change in land cover/land use for the periods of 1977, 1991 and 2016 and to predict ...
